We still have nothing to judge Haye off of to suggest this. I mean who am I to call you stupid for believing Haye would win? Who knows what he'll do from here on? No one has looked good against Valuev before.

What advantaged would Haye have over a prime Mike Tyson? Tyson would be just as fast, a harder puncher, just as good defensively, can take a punch better, etc. How would Haye beat him? The first time Tyson landed clean Haye would be in trouble, and unlike Valuev he would actually have the speed and accuracy to connect.

Valuev fights are so hard to judge, they all look the same yet he wins some he loses some. The judges just take there best guess....it's like watching a Giant Sloth vs a puppy. No one appears to have much ferocity in his presence. And no one seems to get much done. Though the giant did have a tremor I guess in this one.

Haye might be one of the worst HW champions of all time.....not all that dissimilar to the other recent group of WBA all stars you can name. But I think his whole tack is to make some money with a Vitali or Wlad fight and use what's left (after the hospital bill) to retire on.

He seems to be a HW version of the name calling, loud and bellicose Mayorga....except he has behaved a bit better in his most recent discussions.

Have to wonder how Haye would do against old semi retired David Tua? My guess? Not so good.

Why so long! Hahaha

Tyson would blow Haye back to the stone age. Haye doesn't even deserve the thought of a Fantasy fight with Tyson.

I thought it was clear that Chagaev, Donald, and Holyfield outpointed Valuev. The first Ruiz fight could've gone either way although most scored it for Ruiz. Ruiz actually went straight to Valuev and brawled with him with success. Chagaev didn't run from Valuev, Valuev's power is not that big. Holyfield did stay away alot but the guy is nearing Social Security age and even he showed more aggression vs the giant sized Russian.

It seems people are 50/50 on the Haye fight and it's even hard to gauage truly since the English posters flooded the Current Scene with their clear bias towards Haye after the fight. I had it a draw and truly think neither man deserved a W.

ok, its clear haye would get some well earned sleep against tyson, but going through the champs of days gone by where is the hayemakers level? would he beat patterson, for example? or perhaps we have to go down to someone like braddock or sharkey for a david haye victory? how about top contenders jimmy ellis or jerry quarry? what do you think his level is?
