they are legends in their respective weight classes. So are De La Hoya and Tito. None of these guys mentioned, INCLUDING Tito and DLH make it in the top 100 greatest fighters pound per pound in my view. They were a'right fighters, that's all. Nothing to be high about.

It ain't about whatever country I am from. The truth of the matter is that these guys were not as good as their legendary countrymen like Carlos Ortiz, Sixto Escobar, Wilfredo Gomez and Wilfred Benitez for Tito and Oscar was not as good as Vicente Saldivar, Salvador Sanchez, Ruben Olivares, Carlos Zarate and Julio Cesar Chavez.

Oh, I forgot, De La Hoya is not Mexican, he's a Chicano. Well, he does not stack well with Manuel Ortiz or Bobby Chacon...He was not that good.
They may not be as good as Ricans' and Mexican's think, but at the same time there are not as bad as some people want them to be. For instance, to say the Palomino, Ayala, and Moore would have beaten Trinidad is a crime that only a hater could come up with.
What did Moore and Ayala ever did to deserve legend status?
Palomino was good but he was not as good as Trinidad or DLH. both of them would have beaten Palomino.

And btw Sistor Escobar should not be mention in the breath as Ortiz, Gomez, Benitez, or even Trinidad or DLH.

iT SEEMS TO ME THAT YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN Carlos Palomino fight. And to mention that Sixto Escobar is not in the same breath as Ortiz, Benitez or Gomez is like you have never seen his career record. Three times world bantamweight champion when boxing was boxing says enough for Sixto.

We may agree that Sixto Escobar, Carlos Palomino nor Davey Moore make it to the list of 100 greatest fighters pound per pound....Neither Oscar nor Tito.
