Mitchell vs Prescott, Why?

Post by saad muhammad »

Surely it would have made more sense if
he couldv'e stayed @ 130, fight Burns, and then
apparently he was mandatory to Roman martinez.
In my opinion these are both winnable fights
for Mitchell, instead he's going up against prescott
not a great fighter but a guy who fights @ around
or above 140 pounds, a naturally bigger man who can
dig, and if he can win against prescott he will probably fight
Katsidis and get ko'd anyway.
I think warren's trying to get him bumped off.!!

Maybe Warrens trying to teach Mitchell the importance of learning a tight defense?

Prescott is the man to communicate this issue to Mitchell!

I think he'll need to do more gaianst a fighter who has mixed in much better class at a higher weight. I still think Kev struggled with Carl johanessons power at times & was far to easy to find that night.

Prescott will KO Kev in my opinion, but it'll give Roach an insight into how to best Bredis as surely Khan will have to avenge that defeat at some point?

great fight interesting to see mitchell going from super feather to light welter and see how he deals with that.

prescott isnt a great fighter by any stretch of the imagination, he comes in to this fight on the back of a loss and over 12 rounds Mitchell has a good enough brain and good enough skills to beat him.

but we do have to remember the colombian can punch and i dont care if khan had a crap chin or whatever, this guy is a puncher.

its at lightweight, so one step up for Mitchell...

Personally I'd be astounded if Mitchell beat Prescott. Think Kev is overated, and nowhere near world class. Murray would oblitorate him at lightweight.

Bet you it is...

Khan + Warren + fanatic mugs + casual fans + sky = box office

Or a simpler explanation. Khan is contracted to fight box office on Sky.
