Sexton seems like a genuine lad, willing to fight anyone (and anywhere for that matter) and is starting to really improve.

Give him his dues...

As for Rogie, I think everyone liked him for his Rocky-esque story, but ultimately he was never going to go that far. Sexton is the better boxer with the greater pedigree. Get over it.
i'm not from Norwich and not really a Sexton fan however like you i dont understand why this guy is so unpopular

cause he still hasnt earned the right to talk like hes the greatest heavyweight of all time....very patronizing as well
He doesn't.

Sexton won more convincingly this time. Time for both of them to move on now.

The referee shouldn't have let Sexton get away with the amount of holding he did, but he does deserve credit for going straight back to Belfast and for coming back from a real shellacking in the 5th to turn things around one round later.

To my mind he should be the leading contender for the British title and is he does win that, he'll have no shortage of challengers..... Chisora, McDermott, Fury etc

In fairness, having seen a lot of Rogan, he looked tired in the weigh-in, he looked tired at the press conference and he looked exhausted around the eyes...

But sexton won.
