Bet you anything Kev lasts a lot longer than 54 seconds lol. Mitchell is a decent fighter and too good for Prescott but Kev will need a tight defence or pay the price. Prescott isnt that good, many of his wins have been against people who have never won a fight. He has real KO ability though, so he will always be a danger and Kev should respect that and not take any chances. Prescotts record looks good because of the bums he has fought and his KO ratio. His win over Khan, who was over confident, made him famous overnight, but none of it means he is a good fighter. As long as Mitchell is careful, I cant see him losing. Apart from his KO punch, Prescott is big and has a long reach, so it will be a real test for Mitchell.

I'm not sure why this matchup is taking place, given Mitchell's manager's aversion to risk - but there again I haven't seen enough of Prescott and will have to bow to his wisdom.

This is a good fight, I still am too be convinced its on. I think it will answer a lot of question, to me Prescott fought like a guy who was pissed off at his lack of opportunities the night he lost. Seemed to be disinterested and going through the motions. I even asked myself if he threw away the fight because it would get him more opportunities.

It will answer questions of both guys. I only hope, whatever the result, Prescott will not get frozen out as he did with the Khan win. Hope nobody claims "options" or tries to sue him - either promote him, or let him get on with his career. Whether he is world class or not, he is a good TV fighter.

How do you come to the conclusion that Prescott has mixed in better class than Mitchell? Nearly all of Prescotts wins have been againts fighters with losing records and not againts what you would call journeymen where they'd more likely be able to last the distance, Prescotts ko's have been againts a long list of fighters with not many fights but losing more than they've won.

If you watch Prescotts last fight on Youtube(the loss), Sergio Mora came on and said that the guy he was fighting was very underrated and had been fighting at a weight level above what he should have been but that now he was in their gym he was improving no-end. He also said that no-one wanted to fight him either and his style makes his opponents look bad.
