I cant wait till Solis gets in the mix.

How about Solis v A Force?

2000 v 2004 gold medalists on the undercard. That would give him the exposure to get a fight with main event winner

Audley-Solis is a great idea.

And potentially winnable. Solis is a bit of a fat joke.

Its all coming together then.

We have Haye v Ruiz early 2010

Then Haye v Vitali mid 2010

Then Haye v Solis/Harrison late 2010

Then Haye v Wlad early 2011

I can dream :TU:

Id fancy both to outbox Haye if eh goes down the route he did V Valuev. Neither are cumbersome Valuev types, both have immense amateur backgrounds and good boxing credentials.. they can also both whack.

I can't see the fight being more lucrative than Mayweather-De La Hoya, even if its held at Wembley & is a sell-out.

Richard Schaefer has said its the biggest fight in Boxing to be made, which is incorrect. The most lucrative & generally biggest fight out there to be made is without doubt Pacquiao-Mayweather. Even Haye said at a press conference earlier this week that he would like to see those two guys fight!

Haye has a mandatory obligation in Ruiz to take care of first. When its time to train & prepare for Ruiz, I hope Haye does not underestimate or take the fight lightly. All the talk of possible other opponents can sometimes make a fighter take their eye off the ball.

I hope we do get to see Vitali-Haye, even better at Wembley, but I think Vegas will win that battle!

I think that Haye whinged about that because the ref gave Solis a standing eight count, which prevented Haye from finishing the job.

Anyway, how do you gas over four rounds???

I agree, I think Schaefer is talking out of his arse. Neither Vitali nor Haye have the cachet of DLH, and this fight is nowhere near as big an event as Lewis v Tyson was.

This will be a big fight, but I think Schaefer is just engaging in some ballyhoo, and Golden boy are obviously keen on getting involved in the fight.

heavyweight titles. biggest prize. potentially exciting fight at heavyweight. probably won't happen any time too soon, though, if everyone and their uncle has haye's signature.

up to both men to create a serious buzz for it.

haye could do some things vs the K2s, he would see many of their ponderous (if well timed) shots coming, can use his speed as an asset and neither would be TOO far out of reach. so long as he perfects the fine line between punching and moving, he can do some things.

haye could easily be diplomatic and wait til both are retired, but i think he would kick himself if he didn't give it ago vs at least one of the two K2s.

Yes, this could go up there along side "Roman Greenberg: World's First Billionaire Sportsman" claims.

It's easy to forget the hype surrounding Lewis - Tyson. It reached levels that I don't think that I can remember ever having seen, and even became surreal. Why surreal? It needed two MCs, Buffer and Lennon Jr, the string of security guards strung across the ring, the salacious stories of Tyson biting Lewis's leg... it was just all over.

Not to mention that people -- for some reason that will be forever beyond me -- thought that Tyson had a chance.

And not forgetting that Lewis was a mega star.

Haye Klitschko could be big, especially with Haye's ability to work the press; but it's going to get nowhere near Lewis-Tyson.

I think Haye might've been injured going into the fight, seem to remember him saying something about having a torn bicep and being totally knackered from the fights which lead up to the final so he decided to throw caution to the wind for one round and try and pull it out.

Solis would absolutely murder Harrison. Fat or not.

The only fighters I see Solis having trouble with are Povetkin and Vitali K. Chagaev should be in that group but he seems a lost cause. I'd also pick Solis over Haye in all honesty, although that's a very interesting fight.
