I think Cotto should go to number 1 in the p4p list if he dusts Manny.

His record will be second to none.

Cotto was 146lb against Mosley, 146.5 against Jennings and 145 against Judah - I dont think the weight will have much of a bearing for Cotto in this fight. The real question, is can Pacman step up and defeat a genuine welterweight??

I think he can, Pacman by KO/TKO mid-late for me.

Cotto looks Mean as hell
youve got to love Manny though , always smiling and conducting himself in great way
hes a gentlemen outside the ring and a animal inside.

Pacman for me - stoppage in 8

Head says Pacman, heart's with Cotto.

Size has to matter at some point, and Cotto might have the skill to make it telling but I just don't think he'll have the resistance needed. Should be Manny's sternest test to date at 147 though.

It'll be a shame if a Mayweather fight with MP falls through should he lose, or at least a fight where both are at the absolute apex of the sport, but I'd never count Cotto out, best laid plans n'all that.

EDIT: Forgot, it's at 145 isn't it?

Pacman points. Both fighters decked, Cotto from a body shot. Pacman from left hook.

Pacman gets it by two.

It will be interesting to see how Manny handles Cotto's power and strength but ultimately I think Pacquiao is a bit special and have to go for him on points or late stoppage.

Can't see Cotto being starved at the weight, not looking at the meals he was having on 24/7, plus this new conditioning coach should have made it easier to lose the weight in a better way

Pac Man by KO i reckon Cotto will out box him for a while but Pac Man will get the KO around round 9.

Pacquiao mid KO

I've watched Judah-Cotto and Cotto struggled for a start with Judah's southpol stance and fast hands, Pac has faster hands and more power imo, Judah also hurt Cotto with a big uppercut also Cotto will struggle to get his best punch left hook to the body off as it's difficult to land against a southpol. I see Pac boxing and moving for a start in and out then at around the 6th he starts standing his ground setting his feet more therefore getting more power in, In round 8 I see him landing a big punch and stopping Cotto on his feet :TU:

Judah sparked plenty of people at 140 and quite a few at 147, so how do you figure Pacman hits harder?
