Matthew Hatton set for biggest test of his career
Re: Matthew Hatton set for biggest test of his career
I wasn't comparing Tackie and Ndou as fighters, just alluding to the fact Matt was holding on a bit in the latter part of that fight having built a handy lead and i see him possibly having to weather a similar spell tonight if he's to win.

I agree he will win a close decision, though I fear many of us may have him 2 or 3 rounds down on our cards...just a thought.Neri wrote:I have a feeling Matthew Hatton will win a close points decision. He does blow hot and cold but on his night he looks a decent fighter, I believe Watson was an off night for him. I think that Ricky may be able to offer alot of advice to him and although Matthew is no Ricky, the information and tips will be valuable.

A few people on here will have him 2 or 3 down on the cards before it even starts
hope its a good battle though
If Ndou is still decent then cant see hatton beating him

If its close Matt will for sure get the nod.

Can anyone remember the story of the Matthew Hatton-Tackie fight? I seem to remember Matthew winning it well but a friend points out that Hatton really struggled with him. I've got a terrible memory so I could well be wrong.

Matthew Hatton is a decent bloke who I would like to see win - its a close fight if it goes to points.

Hatton did a good job, in many respects better than his brother performance against, an albeit difference version of, tackie.Neri wrote:Can anyone remember the story of the Matthew Hatton-Tackie fight? Tackie won a couple of rounds, but Hatton controlled it throughout. A real nice performance.

i think n'dou is a good style for matt.
he likes to box and n'dou is no swarmer.
he'll give matt the time to get off.
just got a feeling n'dou will shade it though.

Hatton isnt bad but Ndou has fought in better company. At 38 with so many fights at a higher level, Ndou may not have much left. On the other hand he has a lot of experiance and may just have enough to get the win. I think he has to win well to get the decision, though.

he had some trouble late on.Neri wrote:Can anyone remember the story of the Matthew Hatton-Tackie fight? I seem to remember Matthew winning it well but a friend points out that Hatton really struggled with him. I've got a terrible memory so I could well be wrong.
tackie put more into it and tightened things up.
hatton had done enough to win by then though.
n'dou is a bit better than tackie and i think over 12 he'll eek it out.
i think matt will score and pick up enough rds to make it competitive though.

N'Dou looks like a mini Drogba!
