McLellan, Barkley, Kelley- all in the top 10 P4P list at some stage..

Tom Johnson, Doug De Witt- tough as they come

Lindell Holmes, Sanderline Williams- very skilful

Hardly slouches..

Robbie Simms, Tony Thornton- very useful

Granted they did'nt fight Nunn, Toney or Mayweather.. the most skilled boxers on the planet.. but it works both ways and who knows.. still a impressive stat for English fighters..

Hamed might have had a few probs with Norwood who looked a bit tasty beating Marquez.

Benn's wins over Barkley and McClellan are immense.

The manner of them, mainly.

Eubank actually fought half-a-dozen Americans who had 176 wins between them and who shared other pro rings with Roy Jones Jr, Mike McCallum, James Toney, Iran Barkley, Michael Nunn, Steve Collins, Herol Graham, Chong-Pal Park and many others top-drawer operators.

Yep, when people laud Marquez this result is often overlooked. Norwood is one of those classic 'could-have-been, should-have-been' cases. Waste of talent.

Eubank never risked fighting a decent american.

Mind you, against James Toney it would have been a bore since they were both defensive fighters.

Roy Jones Jnr, Michael Nunn or Frankie Liles would have been interesting; but, the politics of the organisations probably prevented it.

Benn, did well beating Barkley; though it was scrappy. McClellan a tremendous battle, still to be surpassed by a british fighter in my opinion.
