This promisers to be a cracker  Barney will run all night to avoid getting hit and that will play right into the hands of the judges, overall a rather pedestrian lop sided points win for Ulrich methinks

VERY poor man's henry maske.

seriously, this guy should never have been unleashed past area level. now he's fighting for the euro title.

David Walker was a similar example.

i can´t understand why Ulrich fights then someone like this guy. regarding Ulrichs ranking positions he should fight for a world title soon. Birne Kohl slept this time.....

yeah, it's anything but a straightforward confidence builder as barney will sprint around the ring in reverse, flapping and grunting and spoiling and generally making life miserable for everyone.

is ulrich a good mover?

I know its probably a remote chance, but imagine if Barney wins. That will be four (with Calzaghe moving up) Light Heavyheavies at European title level or above in Britain.

It would have to be considered one of our strongest weights. Especially with Wayne moving back down to Super Bantamweight.

in the light heavy division is everything possible at the moment. the former leaders of the division, DM and RJJ, are too old even if Darek comes back. Tarver is nothing overwhelming and Johnson IMO makes another 1 or 2 fights and loses vs Ulrich or Erdei in Hamburg. Calzaghe doesn´t fight outside the UK so it would be difficult to fight for the title. Woods got his chances and is too weak IMO but you´ll never know. everything is possible. what i´ve seen this year i would say that Erdei is the best man and would outbox Johnson.
