I think he struggles with Charles. Over 15 I think Ali would win but it wouldn't be easy.

I think he beats the rest...

Walcott? Honestly, based on styles, I think Joe has a very good chance. Ali would still be favourite but this is one of those possible upsets.

Primo? Now theres one that's just too close to call. Anything could happen, granberry tells me that Primo has the fundamentals to get the job done. Now don't go tellin anyone I told you that.

I do honestly subscribe to the notion that anything can happen when two HW's enter the ring. But Ali is the better bet in all of these. IMHO

Ali wins them all, most of them easily.

In fact, he could probably beat several of them in one night if he had to.

Just have the next victim step into the ring after Ali has finished with the prior one.

Prime Ali beats them all quite easily. From that list only Walcott and Charles would put up a good fight IMO.

I agree with StevO, the only 2 I think that Ali would find difficult would be Walcott and Charles...

V Two Ton Tony Galento
Ali recognises the danger against Galento and jabs his way to a round 6 stoppage... TT is just too slow. :TU:

Ezzard Charles
Ali wins by points... He also knocks Charles down.

Jersey Joe Walcott
Ali wins by points, Walcott wins a lot of round though. :TU:

Buddy Baer
Ali wins by KO round 9

James Braddock
Ali wins by KO round 4.... If Braddock came for him, he would get diced!! :TU:

Primo Carnera
Ali wins by points decision... Carnera startles Ali in 1 one of the eralier rounds..

Johnny Paychek (the boxer not the country artist)
Ali wins by death... :TU:

Carmine Vingo
Ali would not be able to hurt Vingo... Yet Vingo has not got the tools to defeat Ali... Muhammad by points.

Don Cockrell
Ali wins by points.

Red Appelgate
Applegate stuns Ali toward the end of the fight, but Ali holds on for a conclusive points vicotry. :box:

An old Braddock lasts eight against a peak Louis, but the prime version falls for a ten-count against Ali in four?

Gotta be something wrong with this picture...

Braddock would walk into Ali's arsenal of punches. :TU:

Braddock had one helluva chin, he could well last the distance with Ali

Has anybody on this board actually seen Vingo (or Applegate for that matter) fight, film or otherwise?
