This is an ongoing problem:bad mamma jamma wrote: too true, the security were standing at the bottom of the steps doing nothing, bet they didnt chuck one particular guy out afterwards did they? terrible behaviour and unfortunately is reflective on the type of d'cks that seem to go to boxing events these days..also at each event security is terrible, just a token effort, that guy who was giving N'Dou sh@t should have been chucked out...finally, matt hatton is domestic class at best and easily lost the fight
1. Security failing to deal with abusive/threatening fans.
2. Security failing to move people who block others views.
3. Failure to control or prevent crowd violence.
4. Direct abuse at the boxers- I've seen fans stand at the edge of the barrier and yell racist abuse at boxers as they walked past. Nowhere else (in no other workplace) would this be tolerated.
Asking £40 upwards a ticket is serious money these days- people will stop going if issues like this are not addressed. And indeed, boxers- being employees of a kind- have the right to work without abusive or mistreatment.
