my 3 favourite all time fighters...

Post by n1ebf »

my 3 favourite all time fighters are:

Muhammad Ali

Mike Tyson

Chrithtopher Livingthtone Eubank

who are yours??

My honorary 4th Place goes to a man I never saw box live, Michael Watson. I haven't included people I know but you may do what the hell you like. It's literally YOUR choice!

Write 3 words, or as much as you like. Keep it clean and protect yourselves at all times. Go.

Tommy Hearns
Naseem Hamed
Pernell Whitaker

To be honest, Hamed & Whitaker are two of my favourites but if I did a top 3 on a different day they might not make the cut. Top three favourites all time is really tough. That said, Tommy would always be #1...

you r so right, there r just so many and it depends on what style you fancy seeing on the day. Every1 loves seeing a brawl but sometimes i stick on a bit of a borefest and enjoy the defensive masterclass. Love to watch James Toney tucking people up.

Check:

top man for Hearns......it took 6 posts for Hearns to get a shout :verysad: :verysad: ......not that I helped lol.

Now you undid your good work with the inclusion of the gobby Sheffielder. After what he did with that car and then coming "rapping" and grinning out of prison to a Limo I have no respect for that particular chap whatsoever. But I'm not knocking you for your choice mate.....I doubt many will go along with my 3.

I am not really old enough to have watched Whittaker, and prime James Toney for that matter, but they sound like they were awesome.

I new Hamed would cause a bit of controversy and definatley wouldn't expect him to be everyones cup of tea, but for me he's one of the most entertaining and unique fighters of all time. Don't get me wrong, I have no argument with anyone who has a problem with the guy, both in and out of the ring.

As for Tommy, he should be in everyones top three. :OhYes:

to be fair having read his brilliant Autobiog, I think Eubank is 2 and 0, "on the roads" if you catch my drift. So maybe a tad hypocritical of me there. Although you didn't see him smirk his way out of jail to an entourage and a limo. Maybe we better get off that subject as it's a tasty thread this.

I don't knock Naz's fighting abilities but I never really liked how he tormented and teased his opponents with what was, after all, something that had as much been given to him by nature (power) as honed in the gym. Also Barrera categorically mullered him :OhYes:
