Krasniqi vs Hoffmann II is on (April 9th)

The EBU dictated a rematch. It´s only for money and for the TV station. I hope Luan lays down the belt and fights for a world title. i am sure he will lose the next fight in the same way the judges made a draw last time when he was winning 7 or 8 rounds. Sauerland does anything for that title and Univesum just goes for the money and the media hype. It´s said that this fight will make more money than any other fight in Germany.....

It was an heavyweight contest that I enjoyed. Cannot see Kransniqi going much further than this level and Hoffman gave his career best performance in defeat last time out. I feel a bit for Hoffman, yes he lost but looked like he could win the title if it was anyone other than the likes of Kransiqi or Samil Sam against him. Unfortuantely for him, I can see both hanging around this title for the next few years.

I give Hoffman a shot in a rematch, more than I gave him originally - but as you said Kransiqi definately did enough last time. However, he did look tired towards the end and maybe Hoffman could capitalise on this a bit more.

Hoffmann made the best fight of his life, Luan was sleeping the first three rounds. You´re right, it was a good bout, better than most US world title fights.

i am sure Luan can go further than this level. he is now rather in all rankings a top ten boxer and should fight other top ten guys. otherwise 2005 will be a lost year. Brewster lost twice in the amateurs vs Luan and he is ranked #5 at the WBO......

Oh yeah, forgot about Brewester - he'd beat him. But not many others, and I would tip Danny to beat him also.

we had this discussion several times here. but why don´t they have the european crown?

No WE haven't, Kransiqi would beat Harrison, Hide, Sprott and Skelton - its just Williams who I would favour. Williams would have to be "right" on that occasion also.

sorry, stu. not we both but with a lot of guys on this forum. i would only give Williams a chance if he would lose weight again. Luan is faster and is one of the best trained heavies at the moment who has no problems with fighting 12 rounds on a high level e.g. vs Sam.

I agree, if Williams came in at the same weight he did for the Klitschko fight I dont think he could beat Krasniqi. I'd still favour Krasniqi at the moment to be honest after the beating Williams took and his previous psychological problems I really think he'd freeze on another big occasion.

I give, regarding the Euro Top 5, Williams more chances vs Wladi Klitschko than vs Krasniqi, Hoffmann, Sam or Valuev.

anyway i hope Luan drops the EBU-belt and fights Wladi for the #1 at the WBO. that would bring him further. next one is a title fight vs Golota who will win vs Brewster. this would be a cool matchup in Berlin where a lot of poles would be around. It´s a long long time since good old Max won the title...........
