Akaash Bhatia

Does anyone know what this guy is doing after his loss to Arthur. He looked like a decent prospect but he hasnt appeared after his first loss. Whens he planning on coming back to the ring and whats he up to now.

Yeah he has, he took the loss badly. I think he was talking about going to the US but i think he has ended up at the TKO gym (not certain).

Spoken to Akaash this afternoon. He's training with Jimmy Tibbs now at the TKO and will be back in January.

He wants to leave Maloney but the midget wont release his contract.

hmm. he was pampered, lost the first and only fight he had that was remotely comptetive, and he's taken it badly. time to change trainer, promoter, etc....

Thats a bit harsh...is there any reason why he should release his contract? its a business and hes under no obligation to forfeit what is essentially one of his assets. He may decide to do so and thats fair enough, but Bhatia signed a contract so for me Maloney is well within his rights to hold him to it...

Yes and its a bit harsh to be getting paid peanuts also and not sticking to agreements.
