Floyd Mayweather's jab to the body. (Perhaps the most underrated punch in history.)
very good shout IMO mate :TU:

what i mean, obviously, is it's something I have said before.

Eddie Futch's counter right uppercut to the body - all his fighters used it.

and another, Terry :TU:

interesting to try and work out the genesis of this punch- Arguello was another Futch fighter who used it to perfect effect- by the early 80s, you almost literally could not miss throwing a right hand at Arguello, without taking the counter right uppercut to the body.

Mancini had terrible trouble trying to adjust to it- eventually, he ended up simply following the (usually missed) right hand with a left hook, to try and stop AA countering his misses with bodyshots. this kept AA from doing as he wished momentarily, only to ultimately use Mancini's left hooks against him and counter (and hurt) Mancini with a series of beautiful short, compact, left hooks of his own. a superb example of the adaptability and two-fistedness of a superb fighter :TU:

my only question here is did Futch bring it to AA, or vice-versa? because i distinctly recall AA hurting Ruben Castillo with that punch, relatively late defence of his 130lb crown i think it was, I just can't recall if he was with Futch at the time, or not. certainly, by the time AA fought Mancini and Pryor, the right to the body was IMO a weapon on a par with AA'S bonecrushing right cross.

McCallum, to name the other obvious candidate, regularly beat people's innards to mush with that punch.
