The teams that lost the recent play offs could be looking forward to playing "voluntary Group games" against the likes of Brazil, Italy and Germany, in place of the teams who won!

wouldnt they have to play each other first in some kind of an International Interim capacity?

And Brazil, Germany, Italy and Argentina would never play each other, all being various "World" champions.

what happens if you take the trophy and sprinkle a few diamonds on the top??....would you be able to get them to set without melting the gold... :-?
