Patterson's power punch combos were just as fast or faster... I can only imagine him throwing for speed only.

Jones was also amazingly fast in his prime.

I would pick those two, Patterson and Jones.

P.S. FYI- Doing P4P for speed would mean reversing the formula from normal P4P... i.e. If Jones and Robinson have the same speed, then Jones wins, because he was the heavier man, and heavier normally equates to slower.
What about the combination Leonard knocked Davey Boy Green out with?

The fact that all these fastest guys fought in recent times has got to smell a bit, hasn't it?

Watching old fights with friends (casual boxing fans) they all remarked on how much slower guys seemed in the 1950s, 60s, 70s… There’s no doubt that these fighters were built more for stamina but even so.

If contemporary fighters are indeed quicker (as many seem to think) then how can speed be a factor in assessing fighters from different eras?

Is Whitaker not on the list because he's too small to fit the pound for pound catagory? and should Pac now be considered?

You are aware that both Ali and Ray Leonard got quite a few KO's with their, 'bullshit olympic style slap combos.', right?

And you prefer someone like Mayweather's, single, pot shotting style to that??? :o And like feck is he faster than a prime Ray Leonard.

PS Thomas Hearns had amazing reflexes and speed, particularly in his Welter / Light Middle days.

I thought Corrie Sanders was one of the fastest heavyweights Id ever seen.
Too bad hewasnt more active and didnt get a title shot earlier when he was younger.
Also it like he looked like he could have spent more time in a gym.
