Stamina, Punch, Speed, Natural Ability

Start with 100% and split into what you think it takes to become a world champ.

Naturally I have them all but some well known trainer made me lose 3.5 stone in 2 months and now i have a rotator injury that can never be fixed. But to break it down Power 40% Naturall Ability 40% Speed 20% IMO. I have trained with the best and held my own without any AM experience but U need the pedigree of a good AM background to get looked after no matter if there is better prospects/potential fighters out there, becasue without the AM background makes it nearly immpossible to get the breaks needed to make it. That is only IMO. :TU:

Good point but when u spar with Haye/Froch/ and very good domestic level pressure/brawlers/rough house fighters you soon find out if you can hack it, good point thought :TU:

If I had to split it, I'd do it thus:

You ready?? Lets go!

This is 10% luck,
20% skill,
15% concentrated power of will,
5% pleasure,
50% pain,
And 100% reason to remember the name!

He doesn't need his name up in lights
He just wants to be heard whether it's the beat or the mic
And he feels so unlike everybody else-alone
In spite of the fact that some people still think that they know him
But fcuk em
He knows the code
It's not about the salary
It's all about reality and making some noise
Makin' the story - makin sure his clique stays up
That means when he puts it down Tak's pickin it up! let's go!

Who the hell is he anyway?
He never really talks much
Never concerned with status but still leavin them star struck
Humbled through opportunities given to him despite the fact
That many misjudge him because he makes a livin from writin raps
Put it together himself, now the picture connects
Never askin for someone's help (help), to get some respect
He's only focused on what he wrote, his will is beyond reach
And now it all unfolds, the skill of an artist

this is just 20% skill
80% fear, Be
a 100% clear cause Ryu is ill
Who would've thought he'd be the one to set the west in flames
And I heard him wreckin with The Crystal Method, "Name Of The Game"
Came back dropped Megadef, took 'em to church
I like bleach, man, ryu had the stupidest verse?
This dude is the truth, now everybody givin him guest spots
His stock's through the roof, I heard he fuckin with S. Dot!

This is 10% luck,
20% skill,
15% concentrated power of will,
5% pleasure,
50% pain,
And 100% reason to remember the name!

If you look at someone like Vito Antuerfermo - he didn't punch hard, he had no 'natural' ability, he wasn't fast and
he cut very easily but he became world middleweight champion because he was a hard bastard with an iron will
which is what it all boils down to in the end. Boxing is trench warfare and if you will keep going when the other guy
is pasting you then you'll win your fights if you are fit enough.

Dennis Andries was another - was laughed at in the gym but he got further than any of his detractors - he had punch, stamina
and tenacity - even when he was WBC world light heavyweight champion he was a crude fighter.

Audley harrison had all the things you mention - and Dennis Andries had very few.

A good promoter is more important

Yes you can get there with limited natural ability - just through sheer determination and hard work.Anfermo was a good example and from a british perspective Scott Harrison springs to mind. Just a shame the way he ended up just when he was on the brink of landing some massive fights.

Hagler- there are WAAAAAAAY too many permutations to start breaking down all the many useful talents a fighter could have into neat little compartments.
