Akaash Bhatia

Post by Wake up call »

A few days ago there was a thread asking where Akaaah Bhatia has gone to.

I hope this clears things up.

Jimmy Tibbs is an excellent trainer, but why do boxers blame the previous trainer for their losses?

Still think that Bhatia can do something on the British and Euro scene, plenty of time for him

Yes I don't like the whole "I've lost so I better switch trainers" attitude but Bhatia's previous trainer's response was classy. I didn't see the fight but there is a possibility he overtrained and it was still mighty close on the scorecards. I remember Jamie Moore having this problem early in his career. Still excuses are ten a penny so the only way he can prove he overtrained is in a rematch with Arthur. Keep busy then get the rematch with Arthur after he loses to Lindsay( Arthur seems like a nice guy and a tidy boxer but I can't see him beating the hard punching Lindsay).

Or even a rematch of an amateur fight with Paul Truscott? Winner gets shot, loser back to the drawing board. Risky fight for both guys thouhg, especially with both coming off losses so I doubt the match will be made.
