very interesting that khan wants to fight hatton aswell , when hatton was on top , khan was asked about fighting ricky and he said "no" we are good friends

hatton still kos khan , khan has the worst chin i have ever seen , the first decent world class puncher to fight him will prove that

Khan has blatantly not lost it nor has he been misquoted.

"I could fight Manny even though we're sparring partners"........Not only has he qualified that he means Manny, by confirming it's his sparring partner, he also further qualifies the comment by referring to fighting boxers from his own gym before as an amateur.

He then clearly dismisses the notion of fighting Manny (who is at his peak), by saying "I won't fight anybody at their peak unless I'm at mine".

So, no offence Ted but you're wrong on both counts, but one things for sure.....Khan wants Hatton, and were it to come off it would be over in 8, possibly even fewer rounds. :TU:
(in Khan's favour I forgot to mention! It won't ever happen though. Ricky Hatton does not want ANY piece of Amir Khan at this stage. Witter has more chance of fighting Hatton than Khan does).

It's marketing.

I'm a fan, and i'm struggling to generate any interest in that fight.

Fluck knows how well it will do paper view.

i'm quite intrigued by it. Salita unbeaten. Seen very little of him but I'm surehe got a run out on Friday NIght Fights with Teddy Atlas last year and he beat somebody and they were tipping him. It will be an interesting nite I think.
Khan too strong and fast and talented though.

Salita might well try to jump on him a bit, a-la-Breidis.....it won't be enough.

I like this comment below the article

"Why doesnt Khan bulk up then go up in the weaghts and take on Froch once Froch has been banged out of the super six, surely with Khans fitness movement and speed in the ring he would run rings around Froch just like the last guy who got in the ring with Froch did. It's a known fact Froch can only bang them out once they have run out of steam and they are no longer a moving target so i think Khans chances would be good !"

Got to love the casual fans.

Fair play to Khan wanting the fight with Manny, I even think Khan would cause Manny problems, but at some point a fighter of Mannys quality is gonna time him and land the BIG shot.

Fighting the non-punching Salita and calling out Manny is like Notts County taking on Grimsby and saying they're gonna hammer Man Utd. I do like Mr Khan though, he's excellent to watch and I reckon the boy will go very far
