how has green won 3 world titles in 3 weights?

according to craig watts article on fightnews he has.
i can only think of 2 wba light heavy and ibo cruiser. surely craig watt isnt counting interims or paba's?

He'd be including the SW interim title won against Lucas I would say.

Yep, and that is probably more credible than a WBA 'regular' title. At least for his Iterim Title the champion was injured and inactive meaning he was considered the best active fighter in the organisation at the time. Unlike the WBA situation where you aren't even considered the best fighter in the organisation, with the Super Champion being top dog.

It's a shame for Green that he only achieved "interim" status at SMW. If Beyer was unavailable through injury, the WBC should have bestowed Green-Lucas full status, or not at all. "Interim" is such a dirty word in boxing now that any claim to such a title is immediately discredited.

Even the WBF (aka "What a Bloody Farce") has "interim" titles now. Perhaps they hope their "champions" will defend their titles.
