Yet another pullout apparently, I really think Calzaghe should retire. The amount of fights he has pulled out of is an absolute joke. Cant wait to find out what the reason is...
His career is going nowhere he really should pack it in with his WBO record.

Calzaghe is off the February card apparently. Not sure if its injury related though at this point.

No doubt people have bought tickets to see Calzaghe fight and now cant get a refund. How many times is this sort of thing going to happen on Sports Network shows? Scandalous.

If he`s off the card they should be able to get their money back.
I`m surprised if much has been sold anyway.

Nope thats not the way it works. Sports Network dont give refunds. Elcock fans were fooked over recently I recall when his opponent withdrew (Lockett I think) and they couldnt find an opponent.

I got a refund when he last pulled out of a show in Cardiff Ice Rink, Dec 03, unless they changed policy now.

Maybe there's special dispensation for Calzaghe as he's pullled out of so many fights. I honestly cant remember a fighter pulling out of as many fights as Calzaghe can anyone else??

I think you only get a refund if the main event is cancelled...as Calzaghe was on the Amir Khan undercard, a refund is unlikely. :P

Wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason for the pullout.

Absolute disgrace, whoever questioned his withdrawals is quite right, has anyone pulled out of fights so often? I can't think of anyone who does it as frequently

Has this been confirmed?
I have not seen any reports that Calzaghe has pulled out.

Small article in NOTW today says back/hand problems mean his next defence will be delayed.

Then why is your thread entitled "Sicknote"?
Like the other guys said lets wait till we get some news confirming this, outlining the reasons and giving us a new date.
