Seen Middles hit him, and He never moved. If anybodys the complete package He is. Think He will finish up a Welter, starting to Punch harder too. Plus He is tightening up in all the right departments, but free thinking.

Good test to one of the best prospects we have in this country - however I would like a good/decent domestic test put in front of him.

I honestly think Gavin is going places - really like what I have seen in his performances to date.

I've seen him nailed clean many a time in sparring off much bigger fighters than himself and he's never budged!! :TU:

hes a natural light welter if u look at his weights he has ko in 1 round drislane who took khan 10 so it shud be a good test
He must have caught him cold, in a pro debut from hell, as he took him to points next time out. But looks a very decent puncher, and durable too, which can be very dangerous test for a prospect on the way up. The recent Jebahi win looks a good one too. Keep your chin down time.

Good to see the confidence they have in taking an ambitious fight like this, always a good sign, they kept Khan well away from punchers for a long time, so it’s obvious they’re fairly sure Frankie has a good chin.
Good luck to you Frankie, thought you looked an even better bet than De Gale last time out, which takes some doing, onwards and upwards

I cannot understand the fuss about Cleverley - Brook & Gavin are the best prospects we have - and a certain Sheffield based fighter will be chasing them in a year or 2.

He sparred some top guys and punchers in Britain already.. Matty Hall,Craig Watson and Alex Arthur to name but a few, Put that with beating the best am's on the planet and never being on the floor I think we can gladly confirm that Frankie Gavin has a very good chin!!
