Bomber has been given one count as a pro, that was against the Latvian Andreevs. Replays later showed it was a trip. In the ams, Bellew received a standing count versus Steve Simmons because the ref was concerned over one shot Bellew took. He never once hit the floor as an amateur. Absolute fact.
There you have it, not one knockdown in his entire career caused by a punch.
but just to add something to that the count against simmons was off a jab and bellew barely flinched and coundnt believe he got a count. a short while after bellew k.od him in a big way. but he never went down he took a jab and the ref said stop boxing give an unbelievable count then bomber k.od him

I was losing yes without doubt. I was 7 down when the ref stopped it, I've come an awful long way since them days 
about 20 pounds in weight and a whole load of medals and ABA titles too..
)
