Boxers whose head got bigger
Boxers whose head got bigger
I was wondering if it is known if any boxers have allegedly taken growth hormones?
Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
Known and allegedly...
I think you can assume that a good chunk of US boxers are
using HGH, especially any over 35, as it is legal there.
Not all show signs of such symptons like a large head etc.

How does one's head start growing again? Ears and nose keep growing as you get older but the entire head?

HGH does it.
Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
Ray Leonard must have been using the stuff for decades then. His gargantuan sized bonce had to be lowered in by a massive crane, into every arena he ever fought inGoodnight, Irene wrote:HGH does it.
But seriously, how does sh!t like this ever become deemed to be legal

I've never heard anyone else mention it, but, yeah, Leonard had a giant forehead. Not accusing him of anything, just thought it was amusing
Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
The head does not get bigger, but certain features do. Ie the jawline.
Google it...;)

Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
Alot of myths surround the symptons of HGH.
The trouble is that a lot of body builders and actors
that use it, they use it in conjunction with steroids,
ephedrine etc and you get a chemistry that creates
some real super symptons.
For athletes HGH is pretty good and relatively risk
free (compared to other PE) and it is legal in the USA.
The trouble is people abuse and over use and it has
the dangers of polarising certain conditions ie
mental disorders, tumours etc.
Men basically stop producing testoserone around
35 or so, and slowly seep into male menopause,
HGH can help stop and slow this. Athletes usually
produce more testoserone naturally for longer, because
they are using their bodies at a peak level, and
testoserone production gets up'd to meet the physical
demands.
HGH helps one revitalise and recover and stay 'young',
that is why in the USA it is heralded as the fountain
of youth. BUT....their are always risks.

Does it thicken the scalp too?
I saw a certain actor on Larry King live earlier this year, their features were like really thickened, almost like they had on a rubber mask.

Apparently it also gives you superpowers and enables you to take a better punch.Brutu wrote:Does it thicken the scalp too?

Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
I am glad that Robinson brought up not just athletes but actors as well.
Two years ago, when Congress was calling in the Baseball players to testify regarding steroids in sports, I felt it weird that the chairman of the committee was Congressman Waxman. For those of you who don't know him, he is the representative from Los Angeles.
While I watched the testimonies on TV, I wondered if once he was done having baseball players to testify to taking drugs to enhance their careers if he was going to ask any actors from his district if they took drugs to bulk up for any movie roles.
After all is there a difference between a baseball playing using HGH to hit the ball farther than an actor using HGH to bulk up for a movie role?

Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
Actors are massive abusers of ephedrine, HGH and steroids
it is not a spoken thing, but they go on courses often before
a role. Though these days digital effects also do the job as
well....say 300 or Twilight series for example.
The reality is PE's are in every sport and are in any profession
that requires one to 'look' a certain way.

Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
HGH has become huge in the "forever young" business. Funny thing is that there is no scientific evidence that it will prolong your life, plenty of side effects, especially when used excessively, that will shorten your life though.Robinson wrote: HGH helps one revitalise and recover and stay 'young',

In sports it's attractive because it is very hard to test for it. In some countries it's even legal in sports, which is incredible given that stuff like caffeine is on the list many places not to mention pot. Bone growth btw is quite uncommon but as Robinson mentioned HGH is often used as part of a 'cocktail' and that can cause all kinds of side effects.
Re: Boxers whose head got bigger
The seduction of HGH is in its increase of energy levels,
and like steroids it helps one through the recovery times.
Muscle wear and tear is a huge factor for athletes, and
entertainers (dancers, WWE wrasslers, etc) so using
something like steroids or HGH not only gives one lean
muscle mass, but also lets you train and train and train
like the ever ready bunny...while us silly 'natural' saps
have to have our naps and rest time.
