Ok sorry if this has been talked about already I skimmed through the topics and didnt see anything.

Whats up with him turning pro...I thought the plan was for him to wait for the 2012 games. Why didnt he just turn pro with the rest of the olympians....im dissapointed in this decision and just wondered if anyone had a opinions as why and how well u think he'll do.

I would like to hear from Mike.

Mike is a good boxer and I thought that if he worked hard, packed on some muscle and boxed at a solid 215-220, he would be successful. At that weight, he would be faster than most super-heavies in the world and he would not be giving up too much weight. Mike is young (21) and could really mature into a top super-heavy. Cammarelle was boxing at heavy at 20/21 and then moved up to super-heavy. In Athens, he won a bronze medal at 24. Then in Beijing he won gold at 28. He also won gold in the '07 World Championships (27) and '09 World Championships (29). He has been dominant since he was 27. Mike Hunter would be 24 by the time the London Olympics came around which is a good age.
