Murray V Mezzache

The parties reached an agreement. Date of the contest: TBA by Hennessy Spotrs
The above from EBU website I wonder when and where the fight will happen?

Re: Murray V Mezzache
Murray should beat Mezaache, I dont think the Frenchman will like or be able to contend with John's pressure.
Who will show this fight in terms of TV as Hennessy will have no TV coverage next year and through ITV I have really grown to like Murray and he's one of my favourite fighters and I really dont want to miss his first Euro title tilt.

A good, and logical fight to happen next - so hope it goes ahead well.
I'd speculate it might go to France, though.
Is Murray a big enough ticket seller to carry a fight that might not even have TV coverage?

Re: Murray V Mezzache
Murray should win this one, he cuts the ring off well and will probably be too strong for Meezache, I see Murray wearing him down maybe losing the first couple of rounds then he will get to him stopping him in the mid-late rounds

Re: Murray V Mezzache
can't see murray losing the 1st few. he is getting smarter with his agression.also his defence is looking better every fight. can see murray winning virtually every round.then stopping mezzache mid-late roundsalexpaterson wrote:Murray should win this one, he cuts the ring off well and will probably be too strong for Meezache, I see Murray wearing him down maybe losing the first couple of rounds then he will get to him stopping him in the mid-late rounds
Re: Murray V Mezzache
Shag, may need a ticket for this. ;;-)
Re: Murray V Mezzache
Murray will sell enought tickets in Manchester, maybe the Veledrome or a little bit further a field? Wigan? Altrincham?
I dont think Sky will show it because they have three who they show for most weeks of the years and then there's Warren who gets his shows on Sky but not as regular.
Tough for Hennessy because he's got a really good promotions and what they do on ITV is really good. 10 round title fight, Fury or someone like El Maachi in a six rounder and then main event, plus Barry McGuigan is a boss pundit, much better than Punchees in Bunchees.

Let me know date when you do.Terry D wrote:Ok. Speculation over, it is on and they are just working on the nuts-and-bolts. Joe Gallagher is in Ireland with Macklin but spoke to us about this fight. It would be rotten luck if they couldn't get this on TV.iwz678 wrote:I dont think Sky will show it because they have three who they show for most weeks of the years and then there's Warren who gets his shows on Sky but not as regular.
Re: Murray V Mezzache
good fight. was about time they brought that cheating frog back for a beating!
Re: Murray V Mezzache
Do you think Murray will give up his British belt now?
Re: Murray V Mezzache
hennessy fighters tend to keep belts until a world title challenge and a few UK lights are ranked by the EBU so i dont think soleforge wrote:Do you think Murray will give up his British belt now?
Re: Murray V Mezzache
Arthur is ranked no1 by EBU can't see that happening.
Re: Murray V Mezzache
thats crap, he should have 1 deffence of the EBU belt against arthur or a rematch with mcallister as thats a sefe fight and would stop the stupid people complainin that mcallister would beat murry in a rematch.Terry D wrote:This is doubling up as a WBC title eliminator as both are ranked by the WBC. Reckon we'll see him vacate if he wins this. I was told that he wants to get the belt for keeps but that Thaxton was probably the last we'd see of John in British title waters.leforge wrote:Do you think Murray will give up his British belt now?
also how is john?
