saturday night at Newcastle

Post by n1ebf »

lots of threads but nothing really on this show.

lots of intriguing match ups.

Khan Salita
Mitchell Prescott
Alex Arthur vs. Nigel Wright
John Simpson vs. Bell

plus the likes of the Frankie Gavin, Stephen Smith etc...

this should be a really good show, but as is usually my problem I'm struggling to recruit cos it's boxing and the last train home in 9.40........what a load of pants.

I like a cherry bakewell personally altho' lately I've gon slightly off the boil and indulged in a Lyle's Golden Syrup cake cos I had a horrible cold.

If anybody wishes to share any more cake related anecdotes (that's cake, not coke....see spelling) please feel free.....the Thread Title regarding Saturday night's excellent and intriguing Championship boxing was nothing more than a suggestion really...... :TU:

re: The trains Tel.....personally mate I don't blame them whatsoever. A load of drunks on a platform at 11pm, it could only end in tears.

It's no good. I have to introduce you to Rocky Road.

Or at least Fray Bentos pies.

every real man has a Fray Bentos pie in his cupboard on standby. Period. If it's been there over 12 months, double man points.
Currently my cupboard is Fray Bentos deficient so I pretty much need to man the f*ck up!

Terry when the going gets tough..

...the tough go into a garage and purchase a Ginsters pasty and then nuke it in their microwave.

(tip: avoid Esso as they dont have Ginsters, only the inferior Geo Adams range of pastry-encased dead animals)

My missus makes a superb Rocky Road. Not good for the waistline etc., but delicious! :TU:
