Apparently the venue wanted the site fee paid up in full and the sponsor couldn't come up with the cash. I was told they were still trying to salvage the show as late as tonight.

That shitt card thats on the following week...the one with all the thai indonesian imports..why don't they put on the Forsyth/Ammann and either 1 of the heavys bout, with the mismatch's on that card there must be left over cash, drop a couple those crappy fights and add a couple more C notes and it would save it's reputation, because it should be considered embarrassing from the promotional team.

That card was easily 1 of the most anticipated and exciting cards in the last 3 years....why would you cancel it?

Audley will not be taking on a non europoen, word on the street is telling me he will probably take on a Russian chap who has top 10 EBU rating. He will be challenging for the EBU title in Feb/Mar and will be facing the winner of the Vidoz/Sosonoski which is main event on the same card.

However, it would make sense for any of ex Newcastle HW's to have a look at some of the cards over in the UK this month, a lot of HW fights still with a TBA. A win could get them up the Commonwealth and World HW rankings.
