Ah yes... that's what he called the erstwhile "Phantom Punch" that dropped Liston.

I also liked Lennox's Lewis' description of his overhand right early in his pro career: "My Riddick Bowe punch" :lol:

ha yeah, I am certain had they met as Pro's he would have dropped it
into Bowe...though Riddick had a nice OH right too.

I am certain that there are more cool names..

Floyd Patterson - leaping left hook "Gazelle Punch"

I heard some one refer to Liston's left hook as a
"Bear Swat" I guess that is a decent enough name :)

The kangaroo punch - Floyd pattersons left hook with both feet of teh ground

i forgot the name of it but there is a double uppercut (both hands at same time that i think tommy the hurricane jackson used
