Bernard Hopkins, Geographic Genius!

Post by Brute »

Asked what he thought about Roy Jones Jnr's loss to Danny Green in the Sydney suburb of Homebush Bay, NSW, Australia, 2127, Bhop said "These things happen when you go to Europe".

Would somebody please buy the poor bastard an atlas for Christmas?

LOL, well that's Americans for you. A Kiwi I know said he once went to America, where somebody complimented him on how well he spoke English...

Toney is similarly geographically challenged. A reporter once asked him something about his West Indian roots, to which he replied "I'm not Indian, I'm black"

How good was it when Green said he didn't give three sh*ts about Hopkins... insignificant!

I agree with him, it would be better for Green to fight someone closer to their prime like Adamek or Dawson. Apparently though he said he wasn't interested in a Dawson fight.

Unless he thought he was being accused of adultery with a Jamaican woman.

A former Governor General of Australia once gave a dumbstruck Clive Lloyd an Australian flag to give to the Governor General of the West Indies. For anybody who does not know, the West Indies is a group of small countries in and around the Caribbean. Lloyd came from Guiana, Viv Richards came from Trinidad and Tobago, Courtney Walsh came from Jamaica. All in all they would have had to cut the flag into about 20 pieces.,
