Breidis Prescott looks like a monster opposite Kevin Mitchell -- think this spells the end of his unbeaten run.

this fight will really be a question of Mitchells speed and leg movement. He can't afford to get tagged.

Balls won't be an issue, fitness won't be an issue. If he stays busy and doesn't catch stupid shots, he wins. If he stands in front of Prescott, Prescott KO's him (no matter if round 1 or 12).

Seemed a bit of a kerfuffle when Prescott weighed in. Anybody catch what was said? I'm sure I heard Fwank drop an F- Bomb.

Wow looks like Mitchell is in for a very hard night, Prescott looks massive. Wonder what Frank's reasoning is here, seems a very risky fight to take - if Mitchell was an elusive boxer type I could understand it, but he's usually there to be hit.

Mitchell's disturbing to watch, the way he eats punches.

Think this will be savage.

He's great in the sense he's entertaining, however I worry about his future life because he takes so many punches to the head. Hence the 'disturbing' tag.

It seems like you know & indeed like the fella, which is fine, but it may be clouding your judgement. I think Prescott whacks him but we'll see tomorrow night.

It's a tantalising fight, which is a hell of a lot more than can be said for the main event!!

Is it me or has Khan lost some muscle definition? Since his move to Roach, it would appear there has not been the use of weight lifting as much. Khan looked more muscular when he was a LW!

Salita looks bigger, but he clearly has struggled to make weight. He stripped naked on his first attempt, which would suggest he knew it was going to be tight!

I like watching Mitchell, but he has to box in this one. He cannot eat Precostt's big shots all night long. Kev can box, has skills, so that's the route he should take, not have a tear up!

I agree that he takes too many flush shots, reminds me a bit of mark kaylor and for a 25 year old it's not good, anyway this fight has far more interest for me than the main event.

No idea, but here's the first & last round of his last fight, vs. the Mexican Vazquez. Vazquez slapped him around a bit in the last & he appeared to take these okay:

This was a case of Prescott simply not being able to nail the Mexican; I only hope Mitchell's watched the fight.

no i don't knw kev. but he seem's a top bloke who has had a few set backs. the injury came at a really bad time for him. or he would have challenged for martinez wbo title and i have no doubts kev would have ko'd him. i don't let my favoritism for fighters cloud my judgement. if kev keeps a cool head and box's he wins the fight. simple as that really. all you have to do is look at the vasquez fight. prescott is a terrible boxer. how vasquez only got a split decision is beyond me. vasuez easily outboxed him and i had him winning by 4 rounds. prescott's shots are easy to see coming. h has a decent jab but doesn't use it enough. mitchell used to get tagged alot because he trades punches too much. hopefully he will mature in this fight and box sensibly for the first 6 rounds. then look to land some big shots

Vazquez is one of the most improved boxers of recent years so it wasn't a total surprise he pulled off the close victory over Prescott in a fight that could have gone either way.

Mitchell will have to get through the 1st round as Prescott will be throwing bombs at him but if he can weather the storm and take the sting out of Brediss' punches then he could have a chance of either forcing a late stoppage or winning a tight decision on points.....should be a very entertaing scrap no matter who wins and surely the fight of the night and even maybe worth the PPV price alone.

that was khan's problem at lightweight. too much upper body strength and no leg strength. probs why his chin was dodgy. obviously he hasn't got a good chin but when you strengthen the legs it improves punch resistance a bit

Prescott looks more than three inches taller, really towering over Mitchell, but he is slower and I'm not sold on his power. I think Mitchell will win this fight if he boxes smart, but the question is will he box smart or will he get drawn into a slug fest.
