PROVIDENCE, R.I. Former boxer Vinny Paz will lose his driver's license for three months as part of a deal with prosecutors over his refusal to take a breathalyzer test during a police stop last month.
A judge dismissed a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest at a brief court hearing Monday. Prosecutors asked that the charge be dropped as part of the plea agreement. Paz admitted in traffic court on Dec. 30 that he refused the breathalyzer test.
I think what's an even bigger shame was that Graham nearly beat Mike McCallum in 1989 - if I remember correctly Graham had a point deducted for push/body check and then lost a split decision by 1 point. Graham still had a lot left at that point and with the middleweight division the way it was could have made some noise.
