fairly good but he can be stunned
just watched the prescott vs vasquez fight. prescott is terrible.how he got a split decision is beyond me i had vasquez 4 rounds up!!! his punches are telegraphed and easy to see coming. his stamina is poor aswell. he did knockdown vasuez with a jab tho  he has a huge punch. mitchell tko 11
he's not a huge puncher either, he caught khan cold and fought some real bums if you look at his record. and now he's been billed as this big 1 punch KO artist which he isnt

He swapped gyms and got his weight down, hence why he had won a few on the trot and then beat Prescott.

I'm going big on Prescott early.
Vazquez looks like a good prospect. He's only lost to Timothy Bradley (WBO champ), as you said, and Saul Alvarez, who is perhaps the best welterweight prospect in the World at only 19 years old!

But, bringing Prescott into the equation, Vazquez won a CLEAR decision against him. The scorecards were closer than they should have been.

Presott is a power puncher in the early rounds but he can be outboxed.

Both easy to hit. Prescott hits harder but mainly loops his punches. Prescott bigger. I'm going for Prescott. If Mitchell can survive the first few rounds and keep the fight on the inside he might be in with a chance, as long as he doesnt walk into a haymaker.

Concentration or something else mentally is what lets him down. Maybe a better trainer would help?

With persistance and experience, a title shot in a few years might happen.

Mitchell's got no problem on that score, he has the kind of courage and steely determination that took men "over the top" in WW1

Now lets hope between bursts of fire he keeps them gloves up, chin tucked in, and dodges the bullets and bombs :box:

I think Mitchell is really up against it here. I would love to see him defeat Prescott - it would really catapult him onto the
world scene and that would be brilliant for British Boxing.

I think prescott is horribly overrated based on his KO over Khan. He has formidable power, but he is a wide telegraphed puncher, and a poor boxer.

I think he's going to get done here, and possibly stopped late, as he seems to fade down the stretch.

still, i'm not sure mitchell will be able to take his shots. not unless he has improved going up in weight (he may have been weak at 130) and settled down technically/mentally.

then again, prescott was going to move up in weight, and now he's a lightweight again. perhaps prescott will be weak at the weight, and mitchell might be strong moving up.
