2 rounds to go- Mitchell will take this with a massive margin.. the Precott myth finishes- although he might be a potential opponent for Khant is Khant loses.

Round Ten

Mitchell taking a little breather over first minute and a bit it seems. Only running, Prescott jabbing and with the occasional combination. Mitchell finally throws a left hook right hand combo that misses. Prescott jabbing and throws a right hand left hook of his own. Mitchell drives Prescott to the ropes with some shots then continues to circle.

Close round, Mitchell didn’t do much in the first two minutes, could go either way.

96-95 Mitchell (Judges probably have it much wider)

115-114 for Mitchell. This was a very competitve fight. Im not sure how the commentary was but I watched without the sound and there wasn't much to split them but Mitchell boxed more effectivly in my opinion. Hopefully Watt didn't make this seem this a magnificent shutout type performance from Mitchell because it was a close fight. Expecting wide scorecards.

Replays showing all Mitchell so I suspect they were on his balls for the fight.

Mitchell wins, missed the scores though. Nelson said it was a brilliant display, It was solid but I disagree that it was brilliant. It was a close win in my opinion but Mitchell fought the right fight.

Precott wasn't anything special. Don't forget, his last fight was a loss too.

Commentary was shocking.

It was a fine performance by Mitchell but not THAT good and the commentators barely seemed to mention the swing of the fight late on.

I had Mitchell winning the first 6 4-2. I gave Prescott the 3rd and the 5th.

Then from round 8 on, Mitchell noticeably took his foot off the gas and the commentators barely mentioned it. I scored 8, 9 and 10 all to Prescott because of Mitchell's drop off. 8 and 9 there wasn't much in it but with Mitchell dropping off and Prescott moving forward and trying to force things I had him just edging those rounds.

Mitchell then came back in the 11th but lost the 12th making it a draw on my card. Mitchell won his rounds bigger but on a 10 point must system that was MUCH closer fight than made out. The commentators sayin "Don't even bother opening the scorecards" was ridiculous.

Congrats to Mitchell in any case, because despite that it was a good performance, just a closer fight than made out in my mind.

Don't think so myself. Khan's chin let him down against Prescott. May very well let him down in the future. But I'd expect him to outpoint Mitchell fairly easily.

Now that Mitchell is up at lightweight, I'd love to see Murray-Mitchell though. Clearly won't happen, but still. It'd be a cracker.
