I hope you have better luck.

Hi,

The only places definately showing this will be The Alexandra Pub just off London Rd, for the Haye fight, they shut the doors to people at 8:30pm as it was rammed since nobody in Southampton shows boxing incase of trouble (yes this was said to me on many occasions in bars when I asked if they could turn boxing on).

The Grosevnor Casino sometimes shows boxing.

Walkabout doesn't exist anymore, it was sold so don't know what they show. Think its called Waaoo bar or something.

The Alex is a great boozer, lots of real ales and lagers from around the world. And friendly too.

Billy you old joker you, we actually have TVs up here in Southampton with a thing called Sky. The only way you can watch sporting events in Pompey is to star through the windows (if they aren't obsured by bars/mesh grills) if you're local Dixons and Currys just like poor folk did in the 60's!

Just been told Wahoo Bar in Southampton based in the old Walkabout site is showing the boxing, bit of a shite bar this, full of Chavs (but then you live in Pompey so just another night out for you). But the opposite end of town from The Alex so its all about location.

Any casino, I think there's 4 of them, Wahoo bar and have to agree the Alex is a great place to go but get there early. To be honest if you don't fancy these then your best bet is going to a more local pub.

It annoys me a bit because Southampton isn't really a boxing town, we don't get much boxing shows let alone a pub on a Saturday night showing PPV boxing.

Well just got back and wanna say thanks for the advice guys. Didn't get to sneak of in the end - well I could have but my work lot were having none of it and to be honest would have looked like a bit of a knob if I had disappeared for a couple of hours. I was hoping my work mates would be up for leaving and watching fight but alas to no avail. I parked outside the place where the work do was (La Margherita - I've volunteered to run a half marathon for charity so laying off the poison) and at one point went to my car with my mate to get his jacket and got some abuse from some chavs on a balcony: "You're hat looks fkin stupid! And what - you drive a micra? Blablablabla" - stopped listening at that point. But on the way back the chavs were there but this time I went back with a verytasty blonde and her mates....sufficed to say their silence was priceless. :D

Ps

The Micra will be gone soon so shat it!
