Amir Khan

have no fear Des1.......I do not judge you on anything to do with our government
Re: Amir Khan
fao gobbles.
i vaguely remembered from the pub there was the Union Jack somewhere on them
....i was merely pointing out that the clear shift to the green and white of Pakistan seems to have come at a moment in Khan's career when he has been ,making noises about leaving for the states and being under appreciated here/ insulted etc etc...
I just found the change, AT THIS TIME, quite deliberate.
I have no problem with it at all tbh, I am a Khan supporter, he could box in rainbow coloured polka dots for me and I'd still want the lad to succeed.
Khan used to sport a green and white Pakistani gumshield and I thought it was a good thing....to be honest I have not been in a position of being raised in a land that is not the land of my ancestors, I think to not pay any homage whatsoever to his historic country, would actually be quite a sad thing. Multi-culturism is a fact of life.......much rather that than a bunch of book burning Nazis.
Des!....were u masturbating whilst following this thread...something a little eager about your hat-trick of post, twice, in response to yourself.

I didn't direct my question or comment to you. I could not care less what you judge your opinion on and certainly wouldn't have anything to fear by it.NorthEastBoxingFan wrote:have no fear Des1.......I do not judge you on anything to do with our government

Only in Britain would we slag off one of our own after he ko'd his mandatory challenger in the 1st round.

Naz should have kept out of it, it looked a bit "Muslims against the rest" to me.

Christ, Khan entered the ring by walking through a sliding door in a vast illuminated union jack - what more do you want?

An entrance? Bah
I'd have been wheeled in on one of those bdsm frame things with a gang of smoking hot women dressed as nazis following behind each taking turns in whipping me!
That is a grand entrance!

Re: Amir Khan
I don`t know why people get on Khan`s back so much. He comes across as a decent lad to me.
He has the right amount of confidence, without appearing arrogant or cocky.
Salita was touted by many on here as a guy who was gonna expose Khan again, a tough well schooled fighter who was coming to win. Khan blew him away with a peach of a punch after 10 seconds. Give the guy some credit. He did brilliantly.
It`s funny how suddenly Salita is dismissed as useless, just because he was blown away. Sometimes that happens in boxing.
I managed to watch the fight in a pub in Twickenham (The George).
Khan will beat Hatton easily if they meet. I can see him struggling against Marquez though if that fight comes off and I would keep him miles away from Maidina.

i think your argument is a lazy one backed up by zip!
you see race and you jump on the race card.
Naseem Hamed is an arrogant cretin imo. When he fought all you ever heard out of his gob were I am great, I can't be beat, I'm just tooooooooo good, he was utterly disrespectful leading up to and during most of his contests, and essentially, he is a man who will drive a sports car over a blind hill in the wrong lane at speed. Did he then run away for a little while, I can't remember.
In addition to his greatness, it was Allah this Allah that. Naseem Hamed is round Khan like a fly round shit because Hamed's out the picture and Khan is a Muslim right at the top of his game. If you don't like it, cry to somebody else I'm not your Daddy.

I said I thought Salita would bring Khan a good challenge. Probably not win, but just give him as good as he got for a while.Adamj1987 wrote:i said kahn would beat salita easy i even got teh round rightforcefraser wrote:I don`t know why people get on Khan`s back so much. Essentially he was sold as "better" than what he obviously was.
People that say he'd whup Hatton....of which I myself have been one recently, well, based on Saturday night's performance, that would be the best way to fight to let Hatton in with a shout. Straight in swinging.....I've got an image of Henry Cooper's left cracking Ali to the canvas....if you stand in front of somebody that you are better than, it can go tits up.
Last week if you asked me Hatton or Khan I'd have said Khan.......ask me this week and I'd say flip a coin.

"a bit of a twat"............care to expand? Being as you are, the man that posed on Boxrec with your arm round a sweaty Tyson Fury........the biggest gobsh*te in the fight game, bar none.Adamj1987 wrote:he came across as a bit of a twat when i met himNorthEastBoxingFan wrote:x2forcefraser wrote:I don`t know why people get on Khan`s back so much. normal man, 15% body fat approx.boxrec wrote:For all that is said about khan, i think that he is a good guy. The thing is, the "success" is all getting to him (has done since his first few fights). Anyone with any self respect/confidence would know that they are good, and wouldn't be so on edge. Its like he has to impress everyone all the time. Like a high school kid.
He's a man, and a world boxing champion. Why not act like one?
Top athlete, 5% body fat approx
Amir Khan 1% body fat is total nonsense, and really he should know better as that doesn't make him sound the brightest.

Leave the personal insults out of the thread lads. Thread reported.
Re: Amir Khan
Excellent performance from Mr Khan, he's destined for BIG BIG things IMO.
Since the Prescott defeat his performances have been excellent, he's now using his greatest asset (handspeed) to maximum effect and he's protecting his worst asset (chin)
Amir Khan a Legend in the making!

Re: Amir Khan
Why was this thread created? If I had been half as successful as Amir I would have moved over there a long time ago.
It's the only way to take your Career to the next level.
I think this thread was wrote to purposely stir up some Racial issues and really there is no need. I understand about Khan getting some stick of certain people but that's life, he would get the same stick if he wasn't a fighter but a successful Business man say.
