Yes Green can punch, and punch hard........however he failed to connect a KO/Stoppage blow to Mundine? Some will say he was weight drained and i'll agree with that to a point, but if he was to pile on the 8kg yes he'll loose some speed, the next question is will that lose in speed reduce his so called power? After all speed and power combined is what is REALLY dangerous, a slower Green at the proper Cruiser-Weight may not actually have that same speed to power ratio he poses at Lt-Heavy. Do you follow? It's not a given green will posess amazing power at Cruiser just because hes 8kgs heavier. I agree a tune-up at the proper weight limit would be understandable. I still thnk Adamek beats Green, maybe even stops him late.

Im a Green fan as well btw, wanted him to beat Choc, always wanted him to do well hes a true grafter and exciting fighter. Just dont think we should all get to carried away with a win over a old RJJ. Having said that it was a great win, Hopkins is the fight to go after but I feel a 44yo Hopkins would beat Green at Light-Heavy.

How many times do I have to point out that Adamek has moved up to heavyweight? Green was weight drained against Mundine, why do you think he moved up to light heavyweight? He was light heavyweight as an amateur in 2000. He is physically bigger now than he was then. Green does not have to go all the way up to 200, he just does not have to worry about losing weight now and can fight at a weight he is comfortable at.
