i reckon a super middle one would be good too . there may be some descent lads willing to do it but not ex world champs of course . maybe a world one might do well , i imagine the likes of oliver mccall , cliff couser , frans botha , andrew golota , oleg maskaev etc etc would be up for it at heavyweight

He should keep increasing the prizemoney and hopefully continue to get more decent fighters involved, he must be making a packet with this format. Plenty of people watching prizefighter wit good coverage on SSN the day after and exposure is always good for any boxer.

we dont have any good light middles other than rhodes. super middle would be good though i could see quigley in that, maybe dodson if it's after his fight with smigga.

should go back to unknowns again like it was designed for look at rogan and sexton and to a less extrent michael lomax they have all enjoyed success since prizefighter and all recived title shots

Light middle should be good, that's one of the most competitive divisions in the country. Even if Rhodes, Moore and Small probably wouldn't be tempted, we still have Hall, Pryce, McDonagh, Woolcombe, Samuels, Facey, Matvienko, Portman that would be good PF-quality boxers who might take it in lieu of better opportunites. Maybe also bring Lomax, Sinclair up in weight or get Wayne Alexander to make a comeback for it a la Bruce Scott.

I enjoyed the light welter not the knockout of the heavys but it was an entertaining evening and good value for money. Ringside was only 80 quid.

maybe the heavyweight option would be good because your going to get more stoppages=more surpises and there will be more public interest, and theyv already had a class heavyweight field so they could probs build on that get the likes of fury,chisora,price, in there maybe sprott as he couldnt last time, audley to defend his crown, maybe 1 or 2 rugged rugged overseas chaps like sosnowski , an american pianeta ect ect could be a top top field

No chance of getting Fury or Price. They are too valuable to their promoters.

personally I think taking Championship level fighters and sticking em in this 3 by 3 by 3 format isn't quite right. Certainly in Groves case I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, and in the case of somebody like Mcgee...(who Groves shouldn't be in a ring with in his 4th fight anyway), I think it's a hell of a fall from grace.
Unless of course the fighter really fancies his chances in the format.

but look at Muttley, Williams, Barnes etc...didn't do them much good did it.

I think Prizefighter is becoming a side show. When a see a once competent fighter like Ted Bami getting easily brushed to one side by somebody like Matthew Hatton, who I think he would have flattened a couple years ago, then ending up in Prizefighter, it takes the gloss off to me.

No disrespect to the competitors or indeed winners, but I don't really get excited by Prizefighter at all and I don't hold it in the same regard as the normal format.

All other issues aside, I still find Prizefighter much more entertaining than the average Friday Fight Night.

Prizefighter gets good crowds and good viewing figures it will grow. As Whicker says much more competitive fights than the usaul cards we see. I think international fighters getting involved is the net step.

Since it went up to 32k the caliber of fighters has risen sharply. Think of where he would get if he went up to, say, 50k? Internationalising the event might well work as well.
