Ike Quartey is definitely one of my favorites. I felt he beat DLH in a very close fight and I felt he absolutely dominated Vernon Forrest. One of the best jab's of all time and an extremely tight defense. He was like an orthodox Winky Wright but with power.

Ali v Foreman is my 1st memory of boxing so I love both of them, Ali moreso.

McGuigan, cos as a 15 year old in Loftus Road watching him win the title from Pedroza is a truly magical memory.

Holyfield - because of his warrior attitude and some of the best nights of boxing I've seen have involved him (I got together with my missus the night he fought Bowe when the Fan Man landed in the ring)

But Holmes is my fav' because my love for boxing was cemented in the late 70's early 80's when he was HW Champ.

1) Matthew Saad Muhammad - Real life LHW Rocky Balboa.

2) Willie Pep - Absolute defensive genius.

3) Henry Armstrong - Like Pep, well before my time, but I love the legend of both of these guys.

4) Prince Naseem Hamed - I still miss him greatly. Apart from his last bout, never involved in a boring fight.

5) Muhammad Ali - The sport owes a lot to this man. Even if you're not a fan of his, you cannot deny the impact he had on boxing & sport in general.

6) Nigel Benn - I used to get goosebumps watching him. He was so intense when he fought.

7) Carl Thompson - A personal favourite fighter of mine. He's the one fighter I've seen most of live.

8 - Floyd Patterson - A tremendous fighter who probably doesn't get the credit he truly deserves.

9) Paul 'Scrap Iron' Ryan - A bit obscure yes, but I've seen a lot him live too & he was so exciting to watch.

10) Thomas Hearns - Never ducked a challenge in his entire career. Even if he was decapitated in a fight, he'd want an immediate rematch to try & get revenge.
