Wow... Hasn't Johnson fought really well so far?

I mean, one would have thought that to win a fight one might want to think about trying to throw more than 10 punches a round.

What an abject performance.

Johnson's 'display' now is mirroring Oliver McCall's in the Lewis rematch.Looks completely dis-interested. Of course Oliver McCall had an excuse in that he was experiencing a mental breakdown and after 12 rounds of this we all probably will. :bag:

American heavies are a joke. They just won't fight.

Oh Ray Mercer, Razor Ruddock, Tommy Morrison come back to us - all is forgiven!

Thank God David Haye is in that division now, this fight is a complete pile of tripe.

Good call, that's it in a nutshell, he just seems completely disinterested. Utterly vacant.

He's being tooled up now, if he had any kind of gameplan to begin with, it's been shut down. Total bust.

The thing is that Johnston is pretty difficult to get out of there for a guy like Klitschko. He has the shell defence pretty decent, and he rolls with all the right hands, meaning they don't land with full force.

And Klitschko doesn't quite have the speed or punch variety to compensate and get him out of there.

That's not what makes klitschko do effective.

So we have a fight in which Klitschko is absolutely dominant; Johnston is not throwing at all, but he does look like he might have enough to at least negate Klitschko's knockout potential.

This is sorry, sorry stuff.

It's almost like watching one of those blurred, grainy, black and white films where guys fought with 4 oz gloves and with something resembling Klitschko's style.

Not quite McCall territory yet - far from it, but a disappointing effort from Johnston thats for sure.

Johnston to join that hallowed place that Timo Hoffman resides. Something to tell the grandkids at least. They'll be the only ones who will listen.

I didn't actually think that Johnson was having a nervous breakdown. But his performance mirrors a fighter that is which is a pretty big indictment!

Johnson's an arrogant prick. He acts like some f*cking big shot after doing f*ck all when it mattered and then pushes Wlad and acts like he's going to do something after he gets patted on the back. I was begging Wlad to hit him with a 1-2. I mean Johnson's useless. Completely and utterly useless.

In fairness as poor as it was it still had much more action than Haye-Valuev. The 'odd' factor was the only thing that maintained interest that night. :box:

I admire Chamber's 'take on all comers' attitude and he probably deserves his shot but his relatively minuscule frame and lack of punch power will lead to the usual late round stoppage or wide points defeat IMHO. :TU:

is johnson related to james toney by any chance. :OhYes:

vitali did what he always does.

a lot more impressive than haye last month as well tbh.

he threw lots of punches and tried to get johnson out.

i hope it's haye vs wladimir first.

vitali is the better brother by a country mile. :TU:
