Won't happen , simple .,,,,,Remember who were talking about here how many times have we seen Warren play these games , and Khan well he pulls the strings but allows it the kids got no pride , he challenges guys and then won't fight them because he considers himself too good , He gets sparkled and then considers himself too good to rematch the guy who sparkles him .

Last week it was Hatton he wanted , not long ago he's talking about Mayweather , its all about KEEP YOUR NAME IN THE PAPER

How can anyone pick Khan over Bradley? What can that be based on?

Bradley has beaten more accomplished men than Khan, whereas there's no existing evidence to suggest Khan can beat an aggressive young top class opponent.

Very weird.

This will be a great fight, i think khan will either be too quick and imaginative and stop Bradley early or will get a UD on points boxing at range.

Khan may be still unproven but its undeniable he has world class skill, he also throws 9 punches a second apparently, not light ones either.

if anyone saw bradleys fight last night then you will know he will ko khan

he simply is a better boxer , can match amirs speed , can move better than amir , will expose khans chin

the only way khan wins this fight is if its a total robbery

Maybe they are basing on the fact that Holt looked to have the beating of Bradley when he boxed at range, just didn't have it when Bradley just kept coming and stopped fighting. Coupled with the fact Khan has shown he can use his speed and box off the backfoot for 12 busy rounds (albeit against a fighter nowhere near as comfortable in the aggressor role as Bradley is), you can see how people could make a case for a Khan win.

Granted Bradley has looked good in his most recent outings. But Khan will dwarf him, and bring more speed than he's ever had to face.

I think if Amir fights a Kotelnik kind of fight, and manages to negate Bradley's pressure style he'll box his head off.

I'd be impressed and suprised if this happened. Bradley looks better every time he fights.

He showed a very slick pressure fighting style on Saturday which would be a nightmare for Khan. If Amir could overcome what Lamont Peterson couldn't he'd convert any remaining objective doubters.

I was hoping for the Maidana fight, but I'd have no complaints if Bradley gets the job

If he beats Bradley he's the real deal.

Bradley is massively under appreciated. He's been punch perfect in the fights I've seen of him.

Fit as hell, confident, always comes well prepared, organised and with a plan. Solid puncher, quick hands.

If Khan beats him, fair play Jose, you got my vote Amir.

I may, may even pay for Khan v Bradley if the under=card is any cop.

I've been impressed with Bradley when I've seen him, he does nothing spectacularly, but he has few weaknesses that I can see. In saying that I'd see Amir boxing his ears off from range and winning a wide UD..... should be a good fight though

coneye's is bang on the money.

I'd be absolutely GOBSMACKED if Khan fights Bradley in his next fight. Forget the big build up to it, forever dangling the carrot in fronts of the fans...if SN are so confident make it now!

SN/Warren have pulled this crap on us time and again, keep getting their guys name in with the top boys whilst rarely delivering. Him and Maloney did this time after time with Scott Harrison....Barrera, Morales, Marquez when in reality they wouldn't have let him anywhere near them unless it was a blockbuster payday.

You always have to make sure you have plenty of salt handy for bullsh1t press releases like this

i'd make bradley a small favourite.

khan has got better skills and speed.

but bradley will keep coming and making it hard.

nip and tuck fight i see it being.

bring it on. :TU:

bradley would ruin khan, he is too much of a complete boxer and would not be phased by Khan's speed and so called power. He would walk through whatever Khan throws IMO. I am a Bradley fan, the way he dismantles opponents - he is a throwback

I think more likely they would look for this as a big summer fight, as Freddie wants a southpaw next so Khan can spar Manny. Still, not that surprising as Warren needs a big fight to keep Khan. If he is only staying on a fight-by-fight deal, doesnt really matter to Warren if Khan gets beaten. All depends on Khan's ambition.

tim bradley's exalted status on here is a bit rich. he's not looked anything special until the latest fight. and that was against an inexperienced (if promising) talent who didn't know what to do. just because he fought 3 tough opponents doesn't make him a great fighter, a pound for pounder (though amdittedly the current list feels well out of date and in need of a shake up, and if ppl like bradley can shake things up, that's good), or "the man" at light welter. i'd think that latter title is wide open after pacquiao brutalized hatton, before moving up to welter.

that said, braldey is good. badley is definitely a good test for khan. it is within khan's abilities to win, provided he can go at a fast, hard pace with braldey. perhaps golden boy have nicked the fight from under warren's nose, just as warren nabbed kotelnik from an apparent fight with golden boy prospect ortiz?

or perhaps we've been lied to and given false promises ("RHETORIC! R-R-RHETORIC!")

anyway, if it all was premature, if it won't happen, then we can expect khan to defend vs maidana? if not, boycott his PPVs ("racist brits!").

The paradox in your counter point is this. Bradley isn't being projected in the same manner as Khan or Ortiz was. but he's an excellent fighter with substance, not PR.

Just the opposite of the point you make. He was punch perfect versus Witter and Cherry, and I've not seen the Peterson fight yet. He'd be Khan's toughest assignment by a country mile.

gordon bennett mate how many times do you want to contradict yourself in a single post

bradley's on a bit of a roll. his competition at 140 isn't p4p intergalactico mad dollars baby. but noone's exactly giving him an 'exalted' status are they?

other than saying basically he's almost certainly the best outside hatton at 140, and possibly as of now better than hatton, i am not aware of anyone making huge claims on his behalf.

anyways, as for him 'not looking special': this is autobarn, right? boxrec's own substance over style merchant? boxrec's own cheerleader for all things pressure-fighting?

since when did 'looking special' blow the wind up your skirt anyway? i thought you were a pragmatic yorkshireman, 'all about results' and all that.... :P

and you have to say surely on recent form bradley's the results man in the division. not to mention that he has a kind of educated pressure style, of the kind i would expect to have you gently fondling yourself and mumbling sweet nothings at the screen.

anyways as for khan fighting bradley at a FAST pace? why on earth would he want to do that? at least if you assume as i do that fast pace = punches thrown = risk. or, fast pace implies both men standing and trading, etc.

khan wouldn't stand and trade with him i am sure of that.

malignaggi cannot punch, therefore khan is more likely to fight him, sad but true.

Roach is supposedly loooking for a southpaw as Amirs next opponent as he's going to be Mannys main sparring partner in the build up to the Floyd fight. This obviously limits the scope of opponents for Amir.

Southpaws at 140
Devon Alexander - good fight, but would Alexander want Amir as a first defence?

Urango - it'd be a great fight, but it's a very dangerous fight for Amir, so his promoter probably won't be too eager for it

Joel Casamayor - he's past his best, not the biggest puncher and a BIG name. I can see this fight happening next up for Amir. Casamayor's usually very difficult to fight, but I can see him suiting Amir

Paul McCloskey - he's the recently crowned European Champ, so I don't think he'll be looking at Amir as yet

Ajose Olusegan - High risk low reward fight, plus they're with rival promoters

Victor Ortiz - Good fight, but I don't see Ortiz wanting to jump straight ack in with AK

I reckon Casamayor could get the shout as Amirs next oppo

Great shout.

Casamayor would fit perfectly. Roach was talking about old cannon fodder like Morales before the Salita match. So with the whispers of Castillo, the name of Casamayor as a SOUTHPAW, is perfect.

Great shout.

I watched Bradley vs Peterson last night and he looked superb so sharp and came up with a very good gameplan, his head movement was brilliant to get inside of Peterspn's straight shots and boxed beutifully from round 6-8 round 6 he was amazing he didnt get hit and his combo's were so good I was so impressed with him. I really rate Khan I think he's a good boxer with fast hands and in Freddy Roach will come up with a masterful gameplan but I dont think Khan could execute it against Bradley, Bradley would slip Khan's shots and come inside swarming him with his own punches he also has a great chin and brilliant workrate I see Bradley winning widely on points, if Khan threw a lazy jab that he sometimes does Bradley would throw that big right hand and might land it, but I dont think Bradley is a good finisher he had Peterson hurt a lot but couldnt finish him.
