I loved the bit about putting something in a belfast newspaper. I'd give froch a great chance against magee. Confidence is a great thing to have, it worked wonders for Tarver against Jones.
Good luck to him.
Froch talking a good game

I think Froch has been moved just fine so far, the Adamu fight gave him a test, and Woolnaugh was no pastry for a fighter who is still learning. Magee would be another step up, but not that big a one. I wouldn't make Froch a favourite as such, but I think that if Froch has the abiulities to match his confidence he will win. Could be quite a hard fight for both men though, as I think Froch will find it harder work against someone who is technically proficient, which Magee is.

I kind of agree with Froch on this one. I'm not his biggest fan and think he has one hell of a lot to prove, especially taking into consideration how much he mouths off, but where Brian Magee is concerned Froch is probably right. By not fighting Froch, Magee would be prolonging his career at the top level (if that is where you currently consider them to be, maybe mediocre level is more accurate)
Spot on!
Losing to overrated types like Reid for fake world titles will do less damage to his marketability, than being trounced for a British title. This will show up Magee's true worth (and he should not be ashamed of this, but I doubt it pays the sort of cash he's in this game for).
In Froch he's got a very hot British champion and should he step up to the challendge and win, the chance to cover himself in glory.
Can't see a guy who shamefully pulled out on Brian Barbosa, turn up for Carl.
