Since losing two extremely close fights to Taylor he has soundly beaten, some might say thrashed, Tarver, Wright, Pavlik and Ornelas. Three of those fighters were champions. He also had a close loss to Joke al Zaghe. He is currently rated the best Light Heavyweight in the world.

I'd say it means a fair bit, along with being a money fight.

The naysayers would still say it was Danny Green beating up a pensioner. You can't please some people.

what is in hopkins fight? #3 P4P in the world not mean anything.....
no we have to discount that in case he beats him too by saying it is a rubbish fight cause he is 44??

I agree with you mate,

Hopkins is the biggest challenge at 175 apart from Dawson. Whether he is 44 or not the Excecutioner is a massive challenge and one that if Green wins should get huge respect for.
