Are any of these fights on British TV

Post by Chris W 1982 »

Are the following fights going to be shown on British TV: Mayweather vs Bruselles and Gatti vs Leija. The bbc have shown recent Gatti fights and sky have been quite consistent concerning Mayweather, but there's been no conformation of these fights.

If we're not even going to get Hopkins v Eastman I doubt we'll see any more of Gatti's fight on the Beeb.

Mayweather on Sky? Doesn't look like it this time.

They had one sure, maybe they still have one but there's nothing in my tv guide that suggests the Mayweather fight will be shown on Sky Sports next week.

Guess it's worth checking Ringside Fri night, for the now unlikely announcement of a Sunday screening of Mayweather/Bruseles.

One of the few recent Floyd fights that Sky haven't shown if that's the case ( think they missed the last one too ).
Shame as it should be good while it lasts: Bruseles is a puncher apparently, but Floyd will probably take him apart in 4 rounds or so.

Had to laugh - this is billed for the Vacant WBC All African Light Welterweight Title ..............!!

Yes, that's an American vs a Puerto Rican.

What next, the WBU Middle East light welterweight title?
