To each his own. I felt like I wasted 15 minutes of my life after reading that one . . .

It's the "lost boys" intrigue that got me ray. Like the show that used to pick someone from the phone book and do a story on them just to prove that we all have one.

Folks who have had that brush with history just to be swept into the dustbin of life has a haunting quality to it. Now a fella such as yourself who has enjoyed world acclaim, never been in doubt, and has always been and currently is on top of the world would not be able to relate.

However I have a good friend who has had both ups and downs, and so I was able to relate....by proxy of course.

For the record, I do believe we simply make choices in our lives and few if any of us qualify as a victim and yet some stories such as this can still be intriguing to me.

Like I said, Buzz . . . to each his own. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

A useless, clueless story by a clueless ESPN 'boxing' writer.

I wonder if the author could have saved himself a tremendous amount of time and effort if he would have instead gone straight to the Miami offices of ACORN.
Probably even if he ever was even in town briefly.

Problem with that is they may have gone on registered him even if he left town 20 years ago or passed away even.
Doest sound that would have stopped their registration drive (from what ive heard).

They probably registered him more than once, and in more than one location.
