Beautiful mush, beautiful.
Do fighters get slight home town advantage? Or champions?

Hometown advantage? In boxing?
Also if you want your fighters hometown's represented here, let me know where and I'll add it.

Exactly. Also if you don't see a venue that's near your fighter's hometown, let me know the name of one that is, and I'll either add it or create it. Everytime your fighter fights at that venue, it will be a hometown fight.Grimm wrote:James Toney - The Palacetzyuforever wrote:Hometown advantage? In boxing?![]()

Re: Venue List *In Progress*
both RJJ and Danny Green are based at the Sydney Stadium (i hope this refers to the old venue - the tin shed). More importantly they are going to based at the front bar of the Lord Nelson Hotel
Re: Venue List *In Progress*
Commish, could we also state where we are from (us trainers), and any if our fighters fight there, then we still get hometown advantage?
If so, i'm from Liverpool, if it ain't obvious enough

Re: Venue List *In Progress*
You can pick anywhere as your home venue, doesn't have to be your fighters birthplace. So if you want Liverpool, specify an arena in case you fight someone else that uses it as a hometown.jBacca wrote:Commish, could we also state where we are from (us trainers), and any if our fighters fight there, then we still get hometown advantage?

Re: Venue List *In Progress*
I'll be adding more countries over the next few days as well.
Re: Venue List *In Progress*
Ok, so topp has Sydney Stadium so I'll take Acer Arena.
Re: Venue List *In Progress*
Thanks for the reply commish.
I do believe it'd be fair for 'hometown advantage' to be withdrawn if two similar cities collided, i.e. Neri v Kevo. The reason being that both both boxers would sell the venue out, and there wouldn't necessarily be any advantage.

If that's the case both Toney and Loughran are fighting out of the palace.

New, sterile, cookie cutter, multi-purpose arena
or
Historic, custom built boxing arena (which is sadly no longer with us)?
I know what i'd go for.
Re: Venue List *In Progress*
Boys, we can fight anywhere in Liverpool, they are all home venues!
Re: Venue List *In Progress*
what about the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in SF or the HP Pavillion in SJ. Id like to be represented as well.
Re: Venue List *In Progress*
Both Muhammad and Johnson are fighting out of the Georgia Dome.
Re: Venue List *In Progress*
