From the BBC
Cwmbran middleweight Gary Lockett has been forced to pull out of Friday's British title eliminator in Bridgend because of a chest infection.

I know he is not the best fighter around but I have always enjoyed following Locketts career. I was looking forward to watching him fight on Friday night.

Lockett is always injured, and always seems to pull out a day or so before the fight, he'll proberbly be ringside jumping up and down like he was when he pulled out of the fight with Elcock, Lockett and Calzaghe are always injured :x

The injury has to be geniune, I didn't call this (no disrespect to Gray) a big risk fight for Lockett and it had a big reward.

So he is ill, no complaint from me - better to not fight than fight without feeling 100%.

Just making the point that he always pulls out a few days before fights, the fight with Elcock was also an eliminator for the British title and he pulled out of that three days before.
