theres a vid over @ maxboxing too, not watched it yet but I figure thats where most opinions are coming from...It's a bit daft to look at one still photograph and say Eastman isn't intimidated.
Eastman - hopkins square off
6/4 does seem kinda short for Hatton. I'm picking Hatton to win but with more hope than logic, 6/4 isn't attractive enough to back it up with any cash though.
I would say the fight will be a nip and tuck battles with little between them but with Hopkins taking most of the rounds even though they are close, therefore winning by a wide margin on the cards. I just really hope we are not left cursing Howard's lack of application AGAIN after a big title fight.

What was said?
Got a good account of it, it sounds as if Hopkins is going in for a couple of mind games with telling eastman how much training he has been doing.

don't think it was mind games, just a fact, i bet Hopkins is up at 4.00 am every morning whether he's in training or not.
Eastman tried to rattle him by saying he didn't think Hopkins was the best fighter P4P, but Hopkins didn't seem to give a shit.
I don't see anyone this side of Toney being able to rattle Hopkins, that would be some press conference.

I think Eastman looks a little tense on that picture.
I know we can't judge the outcome of a fight by one photo, but that's how he looks to me. As you can see, Hopkins' shoulders are down and more relaxed, wheras Eastman's are are up. Also, notice the angle Eastman's head is at, allthough he is looking at Hopkins, his head is slightly more looking upwards, which may suggest a very slight uptightness.
And I get the feeling by Eastman's expression, that he is trying too hard to not look intimidated, which means he is having to think about not being intimidated.
Nothing major though and I am probably reading way too much into this.

Yeh that is the first time I have ever been thankful for the stupidity of city fans007 wrote:jamesmcdonnell wrote:You aren't going to get good odds on Hatton, the minute people start betting they will plunge further, as the Manchester massive spend their hard earned beer money on Ricky.
Let the daft pudenda go for it, then I'll get better odds on Tszyu!!
